Elo Ranking and The Other things in the game in multiplayer mode. Below are some of my comments regarding the multiplayer mode and the Elo ranking and suggestions on how to improve them: Sudden death. When we play with an opponent who has a similar level, the game can take a very long time. The system of red fields and damage after the 10th round does not help much because the HP losses are too small and if one of the parties does not want to fight and just runs away, it is difficult to do anything because you can enter the red fields without great stats. I think that a good solution would be to take damage for every red square we enter. Then if someone escapes across 5 squares in a given round, they will take 50% of their starting HP damage instead of 10% as it is now. This will make it less profitable to run away forever, shorten the game and increase the pleasure of the game instead of getting irritated and chasing an opponent who does not want to fight for 40 rounds (I have had such cases). ELO Ranking. I noticed that after the last update, bots appeared in ranked games that we can use to easily increase our ELO points to the ranking. While bots can be used for tests and training games, fights with them should ABSOLUTELY not be included in the ELO Ranking. Why?: First of all, fights with bots are very easy and last a maximum of 3-4 rounds, but defeating a live player sometimes requires up to 40 rounds, which leads to the situation that when I encounter another player, I was kicked out of the room and the response was that this person he preferred to play with a bot because he can play 10 matches at the same time with a lower risk of failure. Secondly, we always get 10 ELO for winning witch bots, regardless of the difficulty level, while for fighting a live player I received from 4 to 12 ELO depending on their level. If bots were to remain, there should be a symbolic reward for winning against them, e.g. 0.1 ELO (or preferably zero) so that it would be more profitable to play against a live opponent. At this point, we have reached an absurd situation where everyone only wants to play against bots and it is unfair to players who are looking for a challenge and are forced to play against bots. I played over 130 games and maybe 7 were against a live opponent and it should have been the other way around. And Thirdly, MOST IMPORTANTYLY, If the Pre season has started and there are large prizes for the best players, the best player cannot be the person who has played the most matches against bots. I suggest keeping negative points, e.g. 200 ELO, if someone rejects an opponent who was drawn. In real tournaments, we don't choose our opponents, we just choose who we meet and we have to face it, otherwise we lose by walkover and there is no tricking, if you are weaker you lose and that's it. You can set a daily limit for ranked games (or a maximum of 10 games against bots) or set times when you can organize ranked matches only against live opponents. So, in a nutshell, I am calling for the removal of bots, resetting the ELO ranking and introducing the above changes or similar ones that will promote and reward the game with live players and motivate the community to develop and invest their resources in the development of robots, because at the moment it is not very effective against bots necessary. Greetings to the entire ROBO team ;)
